Discarded Palette Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

Jeremy Hartwood, the man you’re searching for in Alone in the Dark is, among other things, an artist. And so it’s no surprise that one of the Lagniappes you’ll need to unlock his hidden memory is a Discarded Palette. This guide will help you get your hands on it.

Discarded Palette Location

You’ll be able to pick up the Discarded Palette when you’re exploring the Hateful Mound in Chapter 2. Early on in that location, you’ll need to lower a bridge inside a dilapidated warehouse (see image 1 below). Once you do, take the stairs to the second floor (see image 2 below), then advance through the room until you see a bunch of stacked clutter and an open window (see image 3 below). Make sure you don’t get too close to the window and trigger a cutscene that will advance the story. Instead, look for a gap in the clutter (see image 4 below) and squeeze past it. When you do, the Discarded Palette will be inside a box there (see image 5 below).

Discarded Palette is a part of The Hartwood Curse Lagniappe set. To complete it, you’ll need to combine it with the following two Lagniappes:

• Witness the Black Pharaoh
• Alone in the Dark
