Experience Table

Game: Baldur's Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 uses a standard RPG leveling system: your experience never resets, and the experience required to reach the next level increases every level. Below you’ll find both the experience required to go from a given level to the next level, as well as the total experience you’ll need to have accumulated to reach a given level. Each time a character in your party gains enough experience to reach the next level, you’ll be able to Level Up that character, making them stronger and sometimes granting them additional spells and/or abilities.

Showing both the total xp and amount to level is helpful. Other tables I found were just showing a single column of xp, which meant it was unclear what that value represented. Thanks!

so with lvl 12 being max and 100k to reach it that means there is no more than 100k xp in the game? if i wanted to make my own level curve up to lvl 20 how would i do that with 100k max xp distributed down to those other levels. i want lvl 1-6 to be 1 xp tho

There is FAR more than 100k XP available in BG3. So far I have an extra 20k and many more to come since there are major things that I have yet to do.

there are more than 200k XP in the game. I think before the final fight I was at >220k (the counter stops at 200k though, I reached that way before the final was approaching)
