Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 12 Now Live – Crashes Fixed

2 days after the massive Patch #5 launched, the team at Larian Studios released Hotfix 12 for Baldur’s Gate 3. This quick fix is one of the smallest updates to the game so far, as it just fixes 2 types of crashes that were occurring in specific parts of the game.

Regardless, Here is the short list of changes from Baldur’s Gate 3’s Hotfix 12:

Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 12

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when joining with a second controller and activating split-screen in certain places.
  • Fixed a crash occurring in certain spots in the game (For example, when speaking in certain conditions to Cazardor, or Thisobald Thorm)

Perhaps more notable than the changes themselves (though those are always appreciated) is the speed with which Larian introduced this change following Patch #5, further proving their continued levels of dedication to improving the game and ensuring it is as stable and fun as possible for as many players.

You know, in case you were still on the fence about who to vote for for the “Best Community Support” award at the Game Awards.
