Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix #6 – A Tiny Change List

Just two days after their last Hotfix and a few weeks after Patch #1 was one of the largest patches we’ve seen for a game, Baldur’s Gate 3 has released another Hotfix, this time on the opposite end of things. Unlike the pretty sizable change lists that Larian usually puts out, Hotfix #6 contains a grand total of 3 changes, fixing an issue with dialog, an issue with tutorial pop-ups on gamepad, and an issue with visual artifacts in the Underdark. And that’s it. Heck, this news post is already nearly as long as the Hotfix. It’s good to see that Larian has such an attention to detail, and can react quickly to immediate issues without it needing to be dozens of fixes long, I suppose.

Without further ado, here is the grand list of changes coming with Hotfix #6 for Baldur’s Gate:

  • Fixed an issue preventing you from starting a new dialogue.
  • Fixed in-game tutorials not popping up at the correct time on the controller interface.
  • Fixed visual artefacts in an Underdark dialogue.

Well, I’m glad to have them, and this is a sign that Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting polished up in a nice way, now that there are fewer glitches and issues people are finding. So, that’s nice. Anyway, back to Faerûn!
