Larian Says They Are Working on Something New, Shiny, & Big

Larian Studios have posted a video on their new community YouTube channel thanking the fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 for their enthusiasm. Most of the video is dedicated to highlighting the creative endeavors of fans, from song covers to animations to cosplay. But there’s also a brief intro by Larian founder and CEO Swen Vincke, whose title in the video is “Armour Enthusiast.”

Along with thanking the fans, Vincke mentions that the studio is now working on its next project:

We’re gonna take all of that energy and convert it into something new, something shiny, something big. It’s gonna take us a little bit of time, but by the time it’s gonna be finished, I think you’re gonna like it. Here’s to the next one.

Previously the studio has said they will not be working in the Dungeons & Dragons universe again. Whatever they have planned, we probably won’t hear much about it for a while. In the meantime, there’s still plenty to do in Baldur’s Gate 3, and plenty of community content to appreciate as well.
