The latest Cyberpunk 2077 delay hasn’t seemed to slow the game’s media team down a slightest bit. CDPR continues to reveal more information about the game, and even gave a sneak peek of the game to Das Erste, a national German public TV channel. In addition, the newest episode of Night City Wire is set to air Thursday, Nov 19th, 6PM CET (12PM EST) on the CD Projekt Red Twitch channel. The date of this episode is certainly raising a few eyebrows, considering it was the most recent release date for the game before the game was delayed to December 10th. Whether CDPR are poking fun at themselves, the fans, or just generally memeing is unclear.
The upcoming episode promises more information on Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves’ rocker character) as well as more on the music of Night City in general. This makes sense, given that the Run the Jewels Cyberpunk 2077 music video dropped last Friday. The official twitter also promised “a lot more”, and told fans that this episode would be “a big one”. We can speculate from what was revealed on the German-language preview what other sorts of things CDPR might be looking to show off come Thursday.
One notable new scene from the German footage was the player character sitting with Johnny Silverhand in what appears to be “The Diner” (a location revealed in the last Night City Wire). We also saw a lot of new footage of V walking around Night City; many of the shots showed off the impressive verticality of Night City to good effect, and so we might get more details on travel in Night City in a few days.
The character customization screen was also finally revealed. Those of you who plan on spending the first few hours of Cyberpunk 2077 designing the perfect Nomad, Streetkid, or Corpo should be pleased if CDPR ends up showing off more of the customization options in Thursday’s Night City Wire.
As CDPR does their best to keep the hype alive for CP2077, we expect them to go all out for this episode of NCW. Let us know what you most want to see more of from Cyberpunk 2077 in the comments!

The note about Keanu’s boots broke me. How are you so good at writing those captions?
