How to Beat Miranda the Blighted Bloom – Elden Ring

Rewards: Viridian Amber Medallion, runes icon elden ring 2100
Summons Available: Yes

Found at the end of the Tombsward Cave dungeon in Weeping Peninsula, this boss is on the easier side, as you may already have defeated this kind of enemy in the open world.

Lather your weapon of choice with some Fire Grease, and you will be able to interrupt both the Poison Mist and the Star Shower attacks. The only real danger here will be dealing with the adds, as they will be slowly coming towards you and attacking you while spreading more poison throughout the room. Focus them first, or just keep attacking the boss if your weapon is able to hit both at the same time.

The other thing to look out for is the Slam, as this attack may be too fast for you to react, and while it’s not deadly on its own, you may not be full health if you have been poisoned during the fight. Either wait for the boss to focus on your summons, or do not use any fire damage and let the boss start spreading poison throughout the room. Doing so will give you a big window to punish the boss, as they will be too busy spreading their nasty pollen all over the place.

Ideally you want to use the Wandering Noble Ashes as they will constantly apply fire damage with their torches, but Lone Wolf Ashes will also be enough to distract the boss long enough for you to defeat it.

This first is very straightforward for ranged characters. The boss itself only has the Star Shower attack to punish you at range, so the only menace will be its flowery buddies. Dispose of them first, and you will be able to use your spells at will after avoiding the Star Shower attack. And while the poison buildup might be stressful, using a Flask of Wondrous Physick with a Crimsonburst Crystal Tear will wash all of your worries away.

As far as summons go, the Wandering Noble Ashes is your best choice, as they will be able to reliably interrupt both the Star Shower and the Poison Mist attacks.

  • Star Shower: White particles will slowly rise from an area, until many white beams come crashing down.
  • Poison Mist: The boss continuously spreads poison throughout its surroundings.
  • Slam: Quick, straightforward slam attack.
