Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC Release Date

Far Harbor is nearly upon us. For anyone avidly following all news of any Fallout 4 downloadable content, it cannot have escaped your notice that Bethesda Softworks have hit us hard and fast with new DLC over the past three months. First there was Automatron that brought robots, Wasteland Workshop then gave us caged monsters, the new Survival mode landed us a new and surprisingly fun way to play Fallout 4, and now what is said to be the biggest piece of Fallout DLC ever, Far Harbour is due for release in a couple of weeks.

With a release date of May 19th, Far Harbour is a whole new story line in a whole new quest area that is absolutely massive. Prospectively adding another 5 square miles of content to wander around in, scavenge and make your own.

The official description of the Far Harbor storyline is as follows”¦

“A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.”

I’m usually driven more by new gameplay features in DLC than quests, but seeing as I get this free thanks to the season pass, I’m not going to look a give-deathclaw in the muzzle.
