This is it: the final region. This walkthrough will guide you how to get the final 2 Stars from the Statues. Prometheus and the Sphinx will see you on your way with some of the simpler versions of their respective puzzles, but the wide area that they cover can still lead to some confusion, and so this guide should help you get the last of the Stars you’ll need to open the Astronomical Temple back near the Megastructure.
The Star Statue Puzzles in The Talos Principle 2 are puzzles dotted throughout the 12 regions of game, with 2 Statues in each region. Solving them allows you to acquire Stars, and once you have them all, you’ll be able to enter the Astronomical Temple near the Megastructure.
There are 3 different kinds of Star Statue Puzzles: Prometheus Puzzles, which require you to chase his sprites through the region; Pandora Puzzles, which require to you connect her box to a beam to activate; and Sphinx Puzzles, which require you to solve a key placard.
High Plains (West 3) Prometheus Puzzle
The Prometheus Statue in the High Plains is near Puzzle 8 (Image 1). This might be a good place to start, but the Sprite is right on the opposite side of the map, for now.

For finding the actual Sprite, head to Puzzle 4 (Image 2), and you might already be able to see it — the Sprite in between the hands of a Statue behind the Puzzle (Image 3), which you can climb on to reach it (Image 4).

After that, the Sprite will first go to a lightly forested area right next to the pathway (Image 5), and then it will end up at the top of a large staircase (Image 6).

After going to the bottom of the stairs, the Sprite will go over a wall (Image 7), requiring you to enter Puzzle 6 to attain it (Image 8).

Once you are in Puzzle 6, take the box and place it on the (turned off) fan (Image 9). Then, hop on the box and press the switch (Image 10) in order to rise up to the upper platform. Grab the floating box (Image 11) and place it on this platform (Image 12) in order to reach and touch the Sprite (Image 13).

Next, the Sprite will go to the top of a set of Stairs leaving Puzzle 6 (Image 14), to just in front of a set of circular arches (Image 15). Then it will go to the pathway in front of the sets of hands you will use to finish the Sphinx Puzzle (Image 16), then to a Canyon just in front of Puzzle 8 (Image 17), and then finally to the Prometheus Puzzle (Image 18).
That might sound like a lot, but if you just keep up with the Sprite after touching it in Puzzle 6, you’ll keep up just fine.

Once you’ve brought the Sprite back, you’ll have access to the final Prometheus Star (Image 19). Let’s see if you follow in his hopefulness…

High Plains (West 3) Sphinx Puzzle
The final Sphinx Puzzle of the game is also one of the simplest. To reach it, go past Puzzle 4 (Image 1), and then follow the pathway up to the side through some circular arches (Image 2). You’ll get to a forested cliff where the statue will reside (Image 3). Make sure to get a good look at its pictorial Key on the placard (Image 4).

To find the location where the Key is, head to Puzzle 8 (Image 5), and then take notice of the set of rising hands *(Image 6).

From here, head into the area with Puzzle 8 (but not into the Puzzle itself) and line yourself up so that the hands are behind the structures that ring the Puzzle (Image 7). Go forward (between the stairs) and through the little alcove to reach a dark area (Image 8). You’ll find a switch here, which you can pull to complete the Puzzle (yes, it’s that simple) (Image 9).

After you flip the switch, you can head back to the Sphinx Statue in order to collect your reward — the final Statue Star (Image 10). Now just for a visit to the Astronomical Temple in front of the Megastructure.

Collecting both Stars in the region will make progress toward opening up the Astronomical Temple outside the Megastructure, but you will need all 24 Stars from each of the 12 Regions in order to do so. Check out our other Star Statue guides for information.
