Daniel, seriously? Not one website is commenting on the consequences of lying or telling the truth when speaking with professor Weasley in this mission after the transfiguration class! How are all of you guys missing this critical part of the mission? It’s just lazy!
I believe you’re thinking of the quest Welcome to Hogwarts, not the quest you’re commenting on (although it doesn’t take place after transfiguration class so I could be mistaken as to what you’re talking about).
In Welcome to Hogwarts, lying to Professor Weasley alters the dialog you get with Professor Fig… and that’s it. It therefore didn’t feel particularly important to note — if you’ve discovered other consequences for your dialog choices in Welcome to Hogwarts, we’d love to add them to the guide! Please do let us know what you’ve discovered.
