Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-Exclusive Content Coming to All Platforms

Hogwarts Legacy released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC nearly a year ago today, and for that entire time, there has been some content, including an entire quest, only available to the PlayStation version. However, in a post on Twitter and the game’s Discord Server, Hogwarts Legacy announced that it’s PlayStation-exclusive content will be coming to all platforms during summer. The post also promises “additional updates and features for the game,” with “more details on what’s coming” soon.

This announcement comes after several months of relative silence from the development team, and indicates that there has been some work behind the scenes over at Avalanche Software, the developers of the game, with more content likely to arrive at Hogwarts before too long.

The main focus of the announcement, though, is that the PlayStation-exclusive content will be coming to all platforms. While we don’t have an exact date, we do know that it will be “this summer” (which suddenly seems so far away). The full list of content that this will make available to PC, Xbox, and Switch players is as follows:

  • The “Minding Your Own Business” quest, a long quest where the players acquire a seemingly-haunted shop in Hogsmeade.
  • The associated Shopkeeper’s gear (Ensemble, Top Hat, Coat), after quest completion.
  • The Hogsmeade shop itself, after quest completion.
  • The Felix Felicis Potion Recipe

In other words, it has been no small thing for the other editions of the games to miss out on the PlayStation exclusives, and so it is exciting to hear that witches and wizards without PlayStations will finally be able to access one of the best quests in the game.
