To survive on Icarus, you’ll need to be able to harvest a wide variety of resources, maintain your shelter, and transport oxygen and water. To do that, you’ll need tools.

How to Repair Tools

Tools made on your Character can be repaired in the field. Press [Tab] to open your inventory, then hover the tool in your inventory or hotbar and right-click your broken tool. A small menu should appear, with “Repair” as one of the options. You’ll see the required materials for the repairs as well. Click the repair button to fix your tool. If the button is greyed out, you’ll need to collect the required resources before you can repair your tool.

Some tools, usually ones created at a workbench, must be repaired at the workbench they were created at. The process of repairing them is otherwise the same: right-click them in your inventory, and select repair (making sure that you have the requisite materials).
