Helldivers 2 Weekly Report (2/17 to 2/23) – Shipping Delays End

Continuous server difficulties have prevented hundreds of thousands of Helldivers from shipping to the front… Until now! A series of updates over the last week have ended by finally raising the server cap of the game, essentially ending the “server capacity” epidemic. Just in time, too, as the Automatons force Super Earth territories to defend themselves and the bugs are pushed to new and more terrifying frontiers.

Seen the Galactic War Reports below for a daily summary of the progress of the war between February 24th and March 1st:

Server issues have prevented hundreds of thousands of the Helldivers from effectively mobilizing, and it couldn’t happen at a worse time. While Super Earth struggles to gather its forces, the Automatons have taken advantage of this weakness and have pressed the attack! As such, Super Earth has delivered an order to defend planets under Automaton Attack. It hopes to defend at least 8 planets in the next few weeks as the automaton offensive rages.

For Helldivers unaware, a successful “Defend Campaign” is one in which an entire planet is able to muster 100% of its defense and remove the enemies from the planet before the planet falls to the anti-freedom forces.

However, all is not lost: this week ended by finally raising the server cap, allowing the long shipment queues of Helldivers to end and raising the effective battle force capacity to 700,000 active Helldivers across both PC and PlayStation 5. This should enable the forces of Super Earth to repel the horrific bugs and bots alike!

The Automatons have begun waging an offensive war, pushing out in back-and-forth battles for Super Earth territory. This has caused the Helldivers to mobilize defensively, while still maintaining offensive lines on planets like Malevelon Creek. This has caused the region to cascade into a slugging match, with Automaton and Super Earth forces losing planets only to gain them back again the next day. Thankfully, the hearty resilience of the Helldivers will outlast the rusty metal of the bots.

Great progress has been made against the Terminids, as Helldiver forces managed to push the bugs out of three of the four planets in the Umlaut Sector, leaving only Errata Prime remaining to be conquered there. This has enabled the universe’s most democratic army to push into the Mirin and Draco sectors, where new, hostile fronts await.

Super Earth officials expect the bug menace to be forced into the quarantine zone within a month.
