RAGE 2
stated as being “one of the best shooters ever” by VG247 is soon to become even better with the
near release of its first expansion pack, Rise of the Ghosts, due for release
on 26th September. Avalanche Studios and ID software have pulled out
all of the stops, introducing a brand-new story and a new region filled to the
brim with psychotic, nanotrite powered cannibals, known as The Ghosts.
So, who are
The Ghosts?
The Ghosts are vicious, tactical and cruel, they took what they needed and killed everyone in their way. After the Authority Wars, they completely disappeared. Many people naturally assumed that they had simply just been wiped out, and they soon become nothing more than a campfire horror story.
As people started to forget, The Ghosts had begun to follow a mysterious woman known as Iris, who had promised them power and glory if they obeyed her. The fled to the Overgrown City where they were experimented upon and brainwashed, leaving them with dark and powerful nanotrite powers
The Ghosts are now a powerful force to be reckoned with for Ranger Walker, he’ll need to navigate the Overgrown City and take them down before The Ghosts get too strong. Although Ranger Walker has a few tricks to bring to the table this time around. He has a new Void ability and a Feltrite Laser Launcher guaranteed to blow holes in anyone foolish enough to attack, as well as a Ghost Motorcycle so he can look even cooler while cruising the Overgrown City.
