Reflect Indie Game Shout-out

Sometimes, a random incident puts you in contact people who you would never have met normally. For example, one mis-sent tweet got me DM’ing with @TheDudeFromCI, who is the founder of Wraithaven Games, and indie game development company well into the development of their new game, Reflect.

Wraithaven Games are working on a game called Reflect, and they were nice enough to let me take a little peek at the Alpha demo of their game in progress, Reflect. Obviously, being an Alpha demo it was a little rough around the edges but the premise was clear. As you can see from the video below, this has definitely got the potential to chew up those extra minutes you have in your day, or provide the perfect reason for not putting the rubbish our or cleaning out the fish-tank etc

The premise of Reflect in the developer’s own words is…

“…a relaxing and very atmospheric arcade game, based around a mechanic of zero gravity mini golf. With heavy focus on mood, graphics, and overall gameplay, Reflect is highly addicting, and is a great way to relax at the end of the day.”

You can see the game in action here, and I can ensure you it is a little trickier than it looks.

So, I’d like everyone to head over to IndieDB.com, check out his work maybe even download the demo and take it through its paces. The final boss is a challenge but is beatable, can you get the top score. As I said though, it’s still firmly in development so there are a few bugs yet to be squished.

If you’re knee-deep in developing an indie game and would like a shout-out from the Zombie Chimp, hop along to the Contact Us page and sent me an email and we’ll see what we can do.
