X-Team Save the Earth Released

Storm X Games contacted me a day or so ago to let me know about their latest game, X-Team Save the Earth released on April 18th and if I wouldn’t mind letting all my lovely readers know about it. Well, being a big supporter of indie games I felt it was definitely something I could help with.

X-Team Save the Earth is a clicker (or tapper) game. By simply tapping the screen you can save humanity from the never-ending onslaught from a variety of dangerous alien attackers, and all this can be done from the relative comfort of your own brutally armed weapons platform.

The control method is simple. Tap the screen to fire the Gatling gun once, tap and hold the screen for a limited burst of firepower that can’t be used until it’s recharged. That’s it! As far as control methods go, that’s all there is to learn, however there is much more to the game.

X-Team Save The Earth ScreenshotDestroying aliens earns you coins, and you can use these coins to buy upgrades to your damage, allowing you to take down even more and even larger aliens. You can upgrade at any time, so if it does look like your aliens aren’t dropping as quick as you’d like, see if you can upgrade to make things easier.

The fate of the Earth does not have to rest solely in your hands. As you progress through the game, you can hire people to aid you, adding their firepower and unique skills to the team. Your team can also be upgraded with new weapons and skills. Though, you’ll often have to choose which is more important upgrading yourself or your team, as there often aren’t enough coins to be able to do both.

X-Team Save the Earth is a surprisingly addictive game that’s well worth a look. You can download it for iOS here and Android here. If you want more information please head to the Storm X Games Facebook page
