Adventure Capitalist. Ah, If only making real life money is that easy. Well, not for everybody of course, just for me otherwise inflation will be insane. Sorry, you’re probably wondering what I’m talking about. Well, it’s a game I stumbled over on the Apple Store called Adventure Capitalist, a simple and addictive little game that can have you making sextillions of dollars in days.
You start off owning a simple lemonade stand, you push the button and within a few seconds you’ve made a handful of dollars. Keep doing this, and increasing the profit margin of your lemonade stand, and you might scrape enough coins together to buy a newspaper stand. Then with these two babies at full pelt, you can do pizza deliveries, own doughnut stands, hockey teams, banks and oil rigs. Buy upgrades to increase profits and Managers to handle sales so you don’t have to keep hitting the button and soon money is flying your way. When you’ve made huge amounts of money you get the opportunity to get some Investment Angels that will make you even more money. To get them you have to sell your business.
Now, with the benefit of all those Investments Angels helping you, you can start all again. This time you’ll be making more money and can buy even better upgrades and hire even better managers, to make EVEN MORE MONEY!
Ok, so you get the point, but you’re probably wondering what the point ultimately is in this game aside from making money. Well, if you earn enough decillions, which is presumably after earning millions, billions, trillions, quadrillions, sextillions and god knows how many others you can head to space and start buying space dollars, which”¦ well to be honest not sure what happens there, but must involve more spending right?
I’m not saying Adventure Capitalist is the most in-depth and complex game, you’re pretty much just buying stuff and selling stuff over and over again, but I just can’t seem to stop logging on. Maybe, it’s the jaunty little tune that keeps repeating through the game that keeps me going back not sure, but as my current bank account is around 30 sextillion and rising, I can’t stop now.
