I was wondering in your you-tube how come u didn’t mention anything about what you get from the Legendary pack beside just the DLC like the legendary difficulty and the fact that you can get lvl and skill and all that non stop? that’s the only reason i am thinking of getting the legendary and was wanting to know your thoughts on the matter.
thank you
Pierce, Michael D.
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your excellent question. I was so fixated on the DLC components of Skyrim Legendary that I didn’t go into detail about the latest game version included in the release and failed to talk about the “legendary difficulty” setting altogether.
When Skyrim Legendary was first released, there was a rumor that the “legendary difficulty” setting was unique to the game. This isn’t true. The Skyrim Legendary Edition is the most up-to-date version of Skyrim you can purchase off the shelf and includes all current patches, including patch 1.9 which added the additional “legendary difficulty” setting and removal of level cap. Information on Skyrim patch 1.9 can be found here.
It’s conceivable that Bethesda will release more patches in the future (no new content though according to the company, just minor updates as needed according to their infamous April 15, 2013 blog announcement), but if a gamer wants/needs the most up-to-date game version in one neat package, Skyrim Legendary is the way to go.
I hope this helps!
