The weakest armor available, offering little in the way of defense.

Arguably a waste of cloth to craft, given that there are other armors that are easily crated and offer significantly more protection. However, if you have excess cloth and no bone or hide, Leaf Armor is still better than nothing.

How to Craft Leaf Armor

In your inventory, combine the following crafting materials:

Leaf x10
Cloth x1

Leaves can be collected by hitting any small bush with a melee weapon. Cloth is generally found in caves or near their entrances, in cannibal camps, and at camp sites.

How to Use Leaf Armor

Open your inventory with /, then go to the bottom right of the inventory screen — this is where your armor pieces are located. Hover your cursor over a piece of leaf armor and press / to equip it. Each time you do so, you’ll add one piece of armor. You can equip a total of 10 armor pieces at once, and they can be of any type. You can see the armor pieces you have equipped in the bottom right of the UI, on the outer ring next to your health. In the image below, two leaf armor pieces — indicated by the green segments of the armor bar — are currently equipped.
