You’ll unlock A New Narrative as soon as you turn in One Step Ahead, and your first objective is simply to talk to Imogene again. She’ll give you the details on the job, and then it’s time to head to Akila City.
Travel to Akila City
If you’ve already been to Akila City, you can use your Mission Log to set a course and fast travel directly to the planet. Otherwise, you’ll need to first fast travel into orbit of the planet Akila, in the Cheyenne System (Image 1). That done, you’ll need to wait until you’ve been given clearance to land, and then you can land at Akila City.

Upon landing, head through the main gate and into the city (Image 2). Take an immediate right once you’re inside the city walls and head generally towards the objective marker (Image 3). You’ll cross under a small pedestrian bridge, and then on your right, you’ll see the entrance to Laredo Firearms (Image 4). Use your Scanner to find your way if you get turned around!

Go inside, then head through the door to the left of the counter (Image 5), turn right, and go up the stairs (Image 6). Upstairs, there’s a locked door (Image 7) with a chest behind it — that’s your objective.
There’s an employee up here, but he seems to ignore your presence, so even if you fail to be sneaky while unlocking the door and the chest, it doesn’t appear to make a difference.

Pick the lock on the door in Image 7, then go into the room you unlocked and do the same with the locked yellow chest indicated by the objective marker. Next, interact with the chest, then press / to swap to your inventory, select the Confidential Files in the Misc category, then press // to Store them in the chest.

Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower
Once you’ve successfully planted the confidential files in the chest indicated by the objective marker, you’re all done in Akila City. Use your Mission Log to fast travel back to the Neon Core, then make your way to the Ryujin Tower. Take the elevator up to Operations, and go talk to Imogene in her office to turn in this quest!
If you keep talking to Imogene, she’ll jump right into the briefing for your next Ryujin mission, Access Is Key.
