After the relative excitement of the previous Ryujin Industries faction mission, we’re back to fetch-questing in this walkthrough. We’ll even be returning to HopeTech, where, with any luck, they won’t have beefed up security despite us recently tricking the security chief into giving us her access card.
Another Ryujin Industries mission, another chat with Imogene. This is a simple mission, but you can get a fair bit of background explanation from Imogene if you want — or you can pick the first dialog option each time to end the conversation quickly.
Travel to HopeTech
This part’s nice and easy, since you already went to HopeTech in Access Is Key. Use your Mission Log to set a course and Fast Travel instantly to HopeTown. Upon landing, you can use your Scanner to find your way into HopeTech — the entrance is also marked by the objective marker (Image 1).
Plant the ARC Device
Inside HopeTech, head towards the door across the lobby (Image 2) — it should be open from the last time you were here. Continue through the hallway and into the large hanger, then use your Scanner to find your way to your objective — first through the narrow passage under the stairs, then up the two sets of stairs, and finally into the ship and up the ladder (Image 3).
After going up the ladder, your target, the access point, will be in the next chamber (Image 4). There’s a guard nearby (Image 5), so you may want to crouch and stealth, but as long as their back is turned you won’t get caught. Interact with the access point to plant the device.

Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower
Once you see the message that the ARC device has been removed from your inventory, you’ll also see your mission status update, and you can fast travel directly from your current location to the Neon Core. Report to Imogene and collect your reward!
It’s worth noting that the mission after the next oneis significantly more interesting than the prior ones, so if you’re getting sick of this questline, you should definitely get through the next two missions before giving up on Ryujin.
