In this mission walkthrough for the Ryujin Industries faction mission Maintaining the Edge, we’ll help ensure you complete your mission undetected and with a minimum of fuss. Similar to a lot of the previous Ryujin missions, this is a simple fetch quest with a few locks to pick and a handful of guards to hide from while doing so.
Unless you went straight into this mission following Accidents Happen, you’ll need to start Maintaining the Edge by speaking to Imogene in her office. Given that this is the seventh Ryujin Industries mission, you probably know how to get there, but the Scanner will lead you from the Neon Core fast travel arrival point if you don’t remember the way. When you talk to her, you can discuss the mission, or pick the first dialog option each time to speed through the conversation.
Travel to Trident Luxury Lines Staryard
The Trident Luxury Lines Staryard can be found in the Cheyenne system, orbiting the planet Akila. To reach the staryard, set a course via the Mission Log and then jump to Akila orbit. Then you’ll need to open your Starmap and set a direct course to the staryard (Image 1) before jumping again. This grav jump should leave you pointing directly at the staryard (Image 2) — target it, then fly close enough that you can dock.

Obtain the Schematic
Board the station, head straight into the reception area, then go down the stairs on the right (Image 3). At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and you’ll see the door you need to get through (Image 4).

There are a lot of people around, but if you hug the wall to the left of the door and crouch, after a moment you should be hidden (Image 5) — move back and forth a bit if you aren’t able to become hidden. Once you’re hidden, interact with the door and pick the lock. Comically, you can walk into the room without worrying about stealth at this point. However, you do need to make sure you’re hidden to open the chest indicated by the objective marker (Image 6).

You’ll have to pick a lock on the chest as well, and then you’ll be able to loot the Prototype Schematic from the chest.
Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower
After looting the schematic from the chest, you can immediately fast travel back to the Neon Core, and from there head on back to good ol’ Imogene — as always, the Hand Scanner is an option at this point. Talk to Imogene, and pick one of the [Give Item] dialog options. She’ll tell you that Ularu wants to see you, and inform you that you now have access to the Executive floor. Once the conversation ends, so does this quest!
As mentioned in the previous quest walkthrough, the next mission, Top Secrets, is the most complex and interesting in the questline thus far, and so it’s worth checking out even if you haven’t been enjoying the Ryujin missions much.
